The Queen Bees and Fire Bees were in action the past weekend in the Women's Elite League and Premier League respectively.
The Queen Bees had a double header weekend, taking on Guildford at home on Saturday, and away to Swindon on Sunday.
Queen Bees started fast against Guildford with two first period goals (2.34 and 6.52) from Gale and Harris to make it 2-0, they continued strong with a further 3 goals in the third period from Cartwright, Harris and Sylvester to finish the game 5-0. Sam Bonathan recorded her second shut out of the season. Player of the game for Bracknell was Katherine Gale.
Looking to carry on their momentum from Saturday, the Queen Bees took on Swindon away from home. The Queen Bees broke the deadlock at 13.12 with a goal from Beal, and continued their strong form throughout the game with goals from Cartwright (x2), Lane (x2), Gale(x2), Newman (x2). Final score 9-0 to the Queen Bees. Both Sam Bonathan and Emma Nichols recorded shut outs, player of the game for Bracknell was Rachel Cartwright.
The Fire Bees hosted Kingston at home on Saturday and came out with their second win of the season, final score 6-1. Player of the game was Meryia Throop. The Fire Bees have 5 more games to play this season.
