Another win on the road for the Queen Bees

The Queen Bees headed to South London on Sunday afternoon to take on Streatham Storm for their third meeting of the season. The Queen Bees looked to carry on their strong winning streak this season, with a record of 11 wins and 1 draw prior to Sunday's game.

In The Queen Bees previous two meetings with the Storm this season, the Queen Bees had won both games 6-1.

The Queen Bees had a great start to Sunday's game with a goal from Laffitte at 2.59 followed by two more goals in the first period from Cartwright and Newman, going into the break at 3-0. A strong start to the second period from Streatham lead to a goal for the home side to make it 3-1. The Queen Bees hit back quickly with another goal from Newman, finishing the second period 4-1 to the QB's.
Third period saw the Queen Bees add a further two goals to the tally, both from Byrom, finishing the game strongly at 6-1 for a third time this season!

Player of the game was Hannah Byrom!

The Queen Bees have a two week break as Great Britain Women start their World Championship Tournament next Tuesday in Dumfries. QB's are back in action on the 14th April away at Guildford.
