Queen Bees win on the road!

Win against Kingston takes the QB's to the top of the table.

The Queen Bees headed up to Hull this Sunday to take on Kingston Diamonds. This was their second meeting of the season, and the first away trip to Hull for Queen Bees this year.

Queen Bees broke the deadlock just before 10 minutes gone in the first period. Lucy Beal with the goal from a shot on the blue line. Shortly after, Gale added a further goal to the tally. A few minutes before the end of the first period the Queen Bees were down another player with Marguerite Laffitte hit, resulting in a 2+10 penalty for Kingston. First Period ending 2-0.

Second period saw Kingston pull one back to make it 2-1 on a powerplay. However it didn't take long for the Queen Bees to respond with their third goal of the game at 33.49 from Newman.

No goals in the 3rd period, with the game ending 3-1 in favour of the Queen Bees. Bonathan recorded a 93.33% Save Percentage and Abbie Sylvester was named Player of the Game for Bracknell.

This win takes Bracknell to the top of the Elite League with 6 wins from 6 games, scoring 32 goals and only allowing 5 goals.

Queen Bees next game is away against Swindon on the 13th January at 1pm.
